Welcome. I am so glad you are here. Growing up I knew I wanted to help others and it wasn’t until I found Naturopathic Medicine that I knew how I would do it.

Using the Naturopathic Principles of treating the whole person, doctor as teacher, and supporting the healing power of nature, I am here to help you thrive through all of life’s challenges and remember your innate state of wellness.

Growing up in Toronto, I developed a passion for food and a love for all things that support this journey we are on. Whether it be a nourishing meal or dancing with friends, I believe in the powers of what we put in our body, and who and what we surround ourselves with. We heal in community and are not meant to solve all our problems on our own.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I focus on the foundations of health; sleep, movement, food and connection. I see you as a whole person, and take into account everything that makes you, you. I incorporate treatments such as diet and lifestyle changes, functional foods, herbal medicine, and acupuncture, using a patient-centred approach to your health. My practice is a judgement free space, trauma informed, and welcoming to patients of all identities. I strive to hold a safe container for you to be seen and cared for.

My approach is to meet you where you are at, to find the most successful way forward together. I blend the evidence based with the ethereal, and my intellect with my intuition to create a plan individualized to you and your health goals. Nobody knows you better than you do. I hope to guide you back to a place where it feels safe to listen to that inner knowing, giving you tools to feel empowered in your health.

The ways I enjoy life include but are certainly not limited to; being mama to my two little boys, sharing a good meal with friends and family, dancing in the rain, enjoying a good cup of tea and getting to witness the everyday magic in the gratitude of my patients.

Welcome. I am so glad you are here. Growing up I knew I wanted to help others and it wasn’t until... Read More

> REGISTERED WITH THE COLLEGE OF NATUROPATHS OF ONTARIO > MEMBER OF THE ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF NATUROPATHIC DOCTORS > MEMBER OF THE CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF NATUROPATHIC DOCTORS > CANADIAN COLLEGE OF NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE, GRADUATE > BHSC. (HONS.), INTERDISCIPLINARY HEALTH SCIENCES, OTTAWA UNIVERSITY

My initial fascination with medicine wasn’t exactly romantic - in its earliest evolution, it started with an emergency room visit at the age of three in which I watched in awe as my ring finger was re-attached and was punctuated throughout my childhood as I was pushed through the system as a competitive dancer suffering from chronic back pain and then a hormonal teenager suffering from unexplainable neurological symptoms mimicking a stroke. As a result, I saw several sides of medicine - emergent in and out care that quite literally put me back together to chronic disease specialists that had the tools but couldn’t seem to carve out time to validate, diagnose, treat and/or monitor my condition. After all - “you’re young, you’ll probably be fine…”

I chose Naturopathic Medicine because I enjoy the deep dive work, finding what underpins a disease process and carefully unravelling disease factors. Working as an ND affords me the time to listen, learn, educate and monitor my patients in a way that aligns with values and allows me to deliver the highest quality care and comprehensive follow up. My promise to you: as your doctor I will take time to listen, remain curious, hold you accountable and act as a fierce health advocate. One of my core values is courage - I promise to be courageous enough to brave, with you, the very vulnerable space that lies between problem identification and “the fix.” (note: you are NOT broken)

I bridge the gap between modern medicine and traditional wisdoms in a way that serves my patients’ highest health. My goal is to empower women to reclaim their health and happiness because we know that a healthy woman translates to a community of healthy people. Given the tools - women learn, women teach, women share and women lead! That is world changing!

I know personally how dangerous the gender gap in medicine and research has become for women in the 21st century so I focused my practice on women and treating females differently because - we ARE different. Your physiology, your disease factors and your metabolism require a unique approach to health optimization. I will meet you where you are, use strategic assessment to obtain both objective and subjective data points to assess progress, functional medicine testing to confirm a naturopathic diagnosis and education as the basis for all treatment plans. I also pride myself in working closely with my patients’ other health care providers to ensure my care is adjunctive and supports the patient ability to meet and exceed their health goals safely.

I started my formal training by obtaining an Honours degree in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa before attending the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. At the College, I acted as Vice President - Clinic within the student council, travelled to Nicaragua and delivered primary care to over 150 locals on Ometepe Island in 2014, sat on the admissions committee, was the first student to sit on the Clinical Therapeutic’s Committee (CTC) and was selected to join the first group of interns to work in Canada’s first fully integrated, hospital based, naturopathic out-patient clinic. I completed a 12 month rotation at the Brampton Civic Naturopathic Teaching Clinic while working concurrently at the Parkdale Community Health Centre servicing low income patients and at the College’s onsite clinic - The Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic.

At home, I go by “mama.” My husband and I are proud members of the “two-under-under” club and our dogs make us a family of 6. Design work is my secret artsy passion and I’m currently working on mastering my mom-bun, my iced-coffee and macrame.

My practice focuses on viewing the body as an interconnected whole, working with the musculoskeletal, visceral, and cranio‑sacral systems to address root causes rather than symptoms. After completing my degree in Kinesiology at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, I continued my education in osteopathic manual practice at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. This is where I developed a deeper appreciation for the body’s ability to adapt, compensate, and heal when given the right support.

My approach to osteopathy is rooted in the understanding that the body functions as an interconnected system. I use hands-on assessment and treatment techniques informed by anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to help identify and address the underlying contributors to pain and dysfunction rather than simply chasing symptoms.

I have a particular interest in nervous system regulation, chronic tension patterns, and headache-related conditions. I enjoy helping patients better understand how stress, compensation, posture, movement, and daily habits can influence both physical symptoms and overall well-being.

I believe treatment should be individualized to each person’s unique presentation, lifestyle, and goals. Whether someone is dealing with acute pain, chronic discomfort, injury recovery, or ongoing stress-related tension, my goal is to support improved function, balance, and long-term health through patient-centered care.

Navigating mental wellness can be daunting; together, we can start this journey to overcome these obstacles.

Have you reflected on your inner self-talk? Would you speak more kindly to a friend than you speak to yourself?

The internal monologue is something that most species do not have.

Accepting NEW adolescent and adult clients.

We have the instinctual need to listen to all of our thoughts, even though they are not always true. These thoughts are a compilation of experiences, environments, assumptions, and sometimes societal expectations that evoke emotional responses. If our mind thinks there is a threat, our brain surges with hormones to support these thoughts, and thus, we can have feelings that are not true because we are listening to thoughts.

>THOUGHTS are NOT facts.

Together on your journey, we will explore the foundations for these thoughts and provide ourselves with evidence for the facts, which are all steps to becoming more aligned with you. As we gather all the information, we learn about the possibilities of WHY you’re not feeling as comfortable with yourself. The exciting part is that with this awareness, you can choose what you are willing to accept and what you want to change. With the WHY, you are better able to accept or change as YOU see fit, aligning with your values.

>YOUR TRUE AUTHENTIC SELF

After nearly 20 years in the education sector, assisting various individuals, I wanted to make an intentional difference in mental health. Furthering my education allowed me to do this. I am passionate about helping individuals become their best selves in a safe, non-judgmental space. I would be privileged to assist you with your growth and would love to witness you flourish.

In my free time, I live in the sun while surrounded by nature whenever possible. I’ve also been seen around the office with the watering can between sessions, giving some love to our plants. You’ll see me with two cups most of the day, one with water and one with coffee, to stay hydrated.

I am a CCPA and CRPO member.

Great work making it here and taking the first step in improving your mental wellness. Let’s embrace this together! Book a free 15-minute Consult Call today to begin. I can’t wait to hear from you.

I came to osteopathy through movement before I ever had language for it. Not through theory, but through repeated exposure to what the human body becomes when it is asked to solve problems in real time under force, timing, and uncertainty.

In gymnastics training, I watched bodies reorganize themselves with a quiet inevitability. A run became lift. Momentum became height. Height became rotation. Rotation resolved into landing. A body that appeared momentarily architectural in the air would return to earth and absorb itself without fragmentation. What stayed with me was not elevation, but the intelligence of reassembly. The capacity to leave a surface and return to it without losing coherence.

Earlier than that, my understanding of adaptation was shaped at the edge of water through diving and time spent at the beach with my parents. I did not yet have language for what I was observing, only a recognition that the body was learning something beyond sport. It was learning timing, orientation, and composure within constant transition. There, I began to understand the relationship between structure and function through the body’s quiet ability to return to itself, to reorganize, to recalibrate, and to find its way back to balance without force.

Across these experiences, one principle became clear. The body is not passive. It is an adaptive system, continuously negotiating structure, load, and timing in real time.

Osteopathy gave me language for what I had already begun to understand. Structure and function are not separate. The body is an integrated system where fascia, neural coordination, and physiological rhythms exist in constant relationship. Nothing is static. Everything is responsive.

In practice, I do not seek to correct the body. I work to understand how it has adapted, where that adaptation has become restrictive, and how to support a return to more efficient function. This requires precision, attention, and respect for the system’s own intelligence.

I believe the human body is capable of far more than most people experience. That capacity begins with health. Health is not secondary. It is the foundation of everything, and it must be treated accordingly.

As an osteopathic manual therapist, I am committed to supporting health as a foundation, working collaboratively when needed, and meeting each person with precision and attention. Whether someone arrives with pain, restriction, or a quiet sense of imbalance, my role is to understand how their body has adapted and to support its return to more efficient, integrated function where effort eases and possibility expands.

My path into aesthetic medicine began in the high-intensity environments of hospitals, where I spent over a decade as a Registered Nurse working in acute care, ICU, and surgical recovery. I witnessed first hand how clinical precision, empathy, and timing can influence healing. Those years laid the foundation for the work I do today only now, I bring that same level of care into a quieter, more personalized space where confidence, wellness, and natural beauty are the focus.

I started Natural U by Cristina with the intention of redefining what aesthetics can be: safe, evidence-based, and rooted in connection. I’ve trained hands-on with industry leaders in microneedling, platelet rich plasma, IV vitamin therapy and vitamin injections. My practice is guided by the belief that subtle, natural results those that enhance, not erase are the most powerful at any stage of life. This philosophy is reflected in every treatment I offer, from skin health plans to regenerative injectables and wellness IVs.

My services at Kurated Care available to book include IV drip therapy and wellness injections, along with a full suite of facial treatments, hair growth treatments and regenerative aesthetic treatments through Natural U by Cristina (naturalubycristina.ca).
